Rivals250 offensive lineman Jauan Williams has been leaning towards Florida State for months and on National Signing Day he made it official by signing his National Letter of Intent.

“They’re a great school, great program with great history of putting out a lot of draft picks,” said the 6-foot-6, 314-pound Williams. “I feel like coach Trickett is one of the best offensive line coaches in the country.”

The discussions Williams had with two current Seminoles during his official visit to campus really helped Florida State win him over.

“I talked to big Rod and Alec on my visit,” he said. “They said it’s awesome there. The program is really helpful and they’ll make sure you get your education.”

Texas A&M and Georgia were Williams’ other finalists.
