FSU, Kansas offer Green

One of the hottest offensive line prospects in the Sunshine state is Chaz Green. Green, 6-6 and 290 pounds, is from Tampa (Fla.) Catholic. Over the past few weeks he has received some monster offers from such schools as Southern Cal and Florida. Today, he got two more big ones from Florida State and Kansas.
"I called Florida State and they offered me," Green said. "My first thought was 'wow'. They have gotten so many first round draft picks to the (NFL) league. It's a great school and I think I fit in real good. They are young on the o-line. They like my ability and think I can fit into their core group. I think I fit right in.
"I am not spoken with coach (Jimbo) Fisher yet. He seems that he knows what he is talking about and is a good coach that can lead that team to a national championship."

Green may know a lot about the Seminoles. But he doesn't know much about the Jayhawks… yet.
"I honestly don't know a whole lot about Kansas. I need to give them a call and thank them and find out more about their program."
In addition to Florida, USC, FSU and Kansas, Tennesse, Michigan, FIU, and USF have all offered. And according to Green Ohio State and Notre Dame have offered while LSU is on it's way.
"That's what my coach said and I need to call up those schools and talk with them and thank them. Right now I am wide open. I want to weigh all my options."
