FSU is favorite for Philly stud

Though nobody has offered yet, Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic junior safety Nick Moody is getting plenty of recruiting attention. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder has one school in the ACC leading for his services early, but plenty of other programs are checking him out too.
"I'm getting mail from Florida, Boston College, Florida State, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Michigan State and others," he said. "I'd say my favorite is Florida State. I went down there for camp last summer and I really like the coaching staff and campus. I like Mickey Andrews coaching staff, it's great."

Although the Seminoles are leading early, Moody plans to take visits to plenty of other programs this summer.
"I'm too busy during the school year, but in the summer I'm planning on going to Florida, Virginia Tech and Penn State. I may take a bunch of other visits too," he said. "In general, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't very cold. I want to head south. I also want the school to have my degree kinesiology or athletic training. That will be a big factor in where I go."
After an impressive sophomore season that saw him record 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions, Moody followed that up with another good year.
"I finished my junior year with 67 tackles and three sacks," he said. "My coaches moved me around a lot more on defense this year between linebacker, corner and safety. I wish I could have gotten some interceptions, but teams avoided me."
