Rivals100 DT Hunter makes surprise visit, plans another to FSU
Verbal commitments are not binding, and FSU is trying to take full advantage of that when it comes to a major position of need for the 2021 class.
Auburn defensive tackle commit Lee Hunter, who is considered one of the top five players at his position in the country, took a surprise visit to FSU on Saturday and came away with strong feelings for the Seminoles.

"It was a very impressive visit this time," the Rivals100 prospect said. "A lot better than last time. ... Really good visit. I really enjoyed myself. Coach Norvell talked a lot about family, and I know a lot of schools say that, but when he says it he means it. It's not just about football."
Hunter, an Alabama product, already has a relationship with FSU defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson from Woodson's time at Auburn. Hunter said that was one of the reasons he wanted to make the trip to Tallahassee.
"I knew him when I was at Auburn, and I wanted to take this visit," Hunter said. "I was [also] hoping to get some more of that honey fried chicken. I'm just joking. On the visit, I got a chance to do a photo shoot, and I felt I looked good. I took pics in the all black uniforms."
Hunter also got the chance to spend more in-depth time with FSU legend and longtime defensive line coach Odell Haggins. The initial message from Haggins was clear and to the point.
"He was just saying don't be bull-crapping me (about his interest level)," Hunter said. "I feel very comfortable around him. He's direct. I like a consistent coach."
