FSU commit solid despite Bama trip

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington four-star athlete Treon Harris is committed to Florida State, but spend the beginning of his week working out in front of Nick Saban and the defending national champions at Alabama. So do the 'Noles fans have anything to worry about?
"I had a great time at Alabama," Harris said. "I came to get some in and things like that but it's all about the 'Noles for me."

Harris cautioned fans not to read too much into his decision to go to Alabama and work out.
"It's just about learning," he said. "There's nothing going on with me when I go to other camps. I'm just trying to get better and learn new things everywhere I go."
There are a lot of questions about which position Harris will play at the next level, but he said he's a quarterback first and expects to have an opportunity to compete at the position in Tallahassee.
"I think I can play quarterback," the 5-foot-11 Harris said. "Size doesn't mean anything. At Florida State they call me the young Russell Wilson. It's all about your heart and your work ethic and I have both."
Harris had the ear of several other big time recruits and he said he's been lobbying hard to get some other big names to join him on the Seminoles commitment list.
"I'm trying hard but it's all up to them," he said. "I've been working on Dalvin Cook and he came up here for a visit so hopefully it's working."
