FSU commit plans to take all five officials

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Five-star defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. of St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood has been committed to Florida State since December. During that time, Fowler has continued to flirt with other schools and now he is working on scheduling official visits.
"I am going to go see Florida, Florida State, Clemson, LSU, and USC," Fowler said."The only date I have set up is I am going to USC on Jan. 13th."

As for his next trip, a pair of unofficial visits may occur in early November to a pair of in-state schools.
"I might go to the Florida-Vanderbilt game with Matt Jones and them," Fowler said. "I will definitely be at Miami-Florida State for sure."
So far this season Fowler has unofficially visited Florida, Florida State, and South Florida.
The one school that seems to be making a major push for his services is Florida. In fact, the Gators dropped in on him at school on Friday. He talked about what the Gators are doing to try to get him to switch his commitment.
"They really want me, they just tell me how they can use me and all of that," Fowler said. "Coach (Will) Muschamp is a good defensive coach, me and him have a real good bond. We talk at least one day a week. Coach (Dan) Quinn was at my school today. Our relationship is real good."
While he is planning to take visits, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive lineman says his commitment to the Seminoles is firm and provides an explanation for why he will be officially visiting other campuses.
"I am still 100% committed," Fowler said."I just want to have fun. I have an opportunity to take these visits and I am just going to take them. I also want to make sure I am making the right decision."
