FSU commit Hoefeld felt like royalty on visit

In his first visit to the Florida State campus since committing on July 2, New Orleans (La.) Brother Martin offensive lineman Ryan Hoefeld said he "felt like royalty" when he walked on campus Wednesday.
Hoefeld was in town to visit the campus and watch the Jimbo Fisher football camp, which kicked off Wednesday afternoon.

"When I came last time I had to another camp right after and I had to get back home so I didn't get to tour a lot," Hoefeld said of his trip to Tallahassee last month. "Today I got the full tour and I got to sit down with an academic advisor and they laid everything out for me so it was pretty cool."
With the start of Brother Martin's fall camp just a few weeks away, Hoefeld said his focus is on resting up for his senior season. But that doesn't mean he won't be helping the Seminoles add to their class.
"I wanted to see a few of the other commits and I might do a little recruiting of my own," Hoefeld said.
He added that he plans to attend at least two Florida State games this fall, and he doesn't see himself being swayed from his commitment.
"I've been treated really well," Hoefeld said. "I'm feeling really good about my commitment and I know I'm going to be solid."
