FSU commit Brinson talks North-South

LAKELAND, Fla.- Greenville (Fla.) Madison County athlete Bernard Brinson looked like a natural at cornerback during practice for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association North-South All-Star game on Wednesday. After the workout, the Florida State commit briefly spoke about his experience at the game and his commitment to the Seminoles.
"It's been going good here," he said. "I've met new people, talented people that are being physical and all. There is some good talent out there."

The high (5.7) three-star rated Brinson talked about his commitment to Florida State.
"Nothing's changed too much," he said. "I've got a visit set up to Southern Mississippi on Jan. 19, but I'm just going out there to check it out. I am still 100 percent committed to Florida State.
"I'm going to be playing cornerback and returning punts there."
Brinson talked about facing some of the North receivers during practice.
"There are a couple of them out there, but man me and my boy Orkeys Auriene from Daytona Beach Mainland have been shutting them down," Brinson said.
Brinson also spoke about the game, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday at Bryant Stadium.
"We need to come out and give those guys a good game in the South and bring it back to the North," he said.
Brinson is the nation's No. 35 athlete according to Rivals.com.
