When asked if he is still considering Ohio State, Mathews said, "A little bit. Coach Tressel came to my school awhile ago. (Ohio State assistant) Coach (Darrell) Hazell was at my basketball game (Thursday night).
"(Michigan assistant) Coach Campbell came Wednesday. (Florida State assistant) Coach Bowden came on Sunday.
"I'm still visiting Florida State this weekend. But I'm still committed to Michigan."
When asked when he will make a final decision, Mathews said, "I already made my final decision. I'm pretty sure I want to go to Michigan.
"I'm just taking these two visits to compare. If things work out the way they should I'll go to Michigan."
The 6-foot-2 and 190 pound Mathews caught 59 passes for 1088 yards during his senior season. Mathews averaged 18.4 yards per catch and scored 12 times. He is the No. 9 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings.
