Most recruits would love to have the kind of offers defensive end Mack Frost has. Frost feels fortunate, but he's had some trouble narrowing his list of leaders.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound defensive end from Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley has offers from South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, Maryland, Clemson, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Duke and Auburn, among others.
"There's just so many schools that have been showing interest and that have offered, it seems like it's going to be so hard to eventually eliminate all but one," said Frost.
"I don't think I have any 'favorites,' but I have been looking at a few schools pretty closely. Just about everyone that has offered is high on my list. Schools like Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina are up there. Just about every school where coaches and players have good relationships is appealing to me."
Will he take all his visits?
"Yes, I plan on taking five official visits. That's something I'm just about 100-percent sure about. I need to find out as much as I can about some of these places to kind of separate them from each other. Sometimes they just run together and it seems like they offer the same things. I just need to learn more specifics about each place."
While many fans of recruiting may be anxious to hear where this South Carolina stud is headed, he may not be ready to decide for quite a while.
"I won't make a decision until February. I'm going to drag this thing out and make everyone nervous for a long time," he laughed. "I still have to take visits, look at all the schools more closely, and everything like that. I still think there's plenty of time, so I'm in no rush."
