Recruiting wrap: Committed to Ohio State last Monday.
Performance: There's been debate whether Gibson has the skill set to succeed at the quarterback position at the next level, but once again Gibson proved why the Buckeyes have recruited him for that position. Some see the 6-foot-4, 195-pound four-star athlete as more of a defensive back or receiver. However, Gibson showed off his strong arm with the aforementioned touchdown pass to McFadden and hit receiver Dredrick Snelson on another pass play that went for more than 20 yards. He finished with three touchdown throws. He also showed off the his running ability with a 40-yard dash in which he zigzagged through defenders and outran them.

WR
Brandon Johnson (2016)
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Holds 10 offers, including LSU, Miami, Wisconsin, Clemson, South Carolina, Louisville and Tennessee.
Performance: In a game where his team pulled away early and by using McFadden in the deep game, Johnson still managed to make a huge impression on a 6-yard touchdown reception. The play called for Johnson to run to the end zone sideline, where the ball was slightly overthrown and he had to leap, keep his balance for a fingertip catch, then stay in bounds on a tip-toe landing for the score. It was an incredibly athletic play for the 6-foot-1, 166-pound three-star, and if he continues to bulk up he will be a major FBS prospect.

Brian Burns
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Holds six offers including Clemson, Wisconsin, Duke, UCF, FAU and FIU.
Performance: Burns was absolutely dominant and the leader of a pass rush that had six sacks by halftime before starters were pulled early in the third quarter. The 6-foot-3, 201 three-star had two sacks including a bulldozer in which he ran completely through an overmatched Kathleen lineman and two tackles for loss. He's strong, fast, chased down runners from behind and is an overall impressive athlete.

OL
TeDarrell Slaton (2017)
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap:Currently holds no known offers.
Performance: Already 6-foot-5, 310 pounds, Slaton immediately stands out as a lineman. He also did a pretty good job blocking for Gibson on Gibson's 40-yard run and helped to slow a Kathleen pass rush. He didn't allow a sack. His ceiling is high and next year could be huge for his recruiting process.
Grade: B-
WR
Dredrick Snelson (2016)
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Miami since July.
Performance: The strong and physical receiver showed off his speed as a runner when he took a short pass and reversed the field. A powerful athlete who is tough to bring down, the four-star who stands at 5-foot-11, 194 pounds has immediate impact potential for a Big Five program.

Deonta Fair
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Holds an offer from Florida Atlantic, likes Miami.
Performance: Like his teammate, McFadden, Fair did his job in the pass defense game in not allowing a big play. Though his performance blended in, the three-star, who stands at 6-foot, 176 pounds, showed off good coverage skills and is an FBS-caliber athlete.
Grade: B-
LB
Christian Irving
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Holds offers from Georgia Tech and South Florida.
Performance: Irving was part of a pass rush that made Kathleen's night miserable. He pitched in with a half sack while the team with finished six first-half sacks before starters were removed early in the second half. Though a little undersized at 5-foot-10, 192 pounds, the two-star plays with an edge and has good ball-hunting instincts.

Anthony Fiory
Plantation American Heritage
Recruiting wrap: Holds offers from Central Michigan and Cincinnati.
Performance: Like Irving, Fiory was in on a number of pass-rushing plays that kept Kathleen's offense grounded. He, too, added a sack, and at 6-foot-2, 237 pounds, the two-star has the potential to someday make an impact for an FBS-level program.

Justin Andrews (2016)
Lakeland Kathleen
Recruiting wrap: Holds eight offers including Virginia Tech, Marshall, Louisville, Kentucky, UCF and South Florida.
Performance: Andrews is one of the leaders on a team that simply had a bad night. The Red Devils drove to the wrong American Heritage school, causing an hour-and-a-half hour delay, came out flat and made no plays to speak of until the starters were pulled and the game was well-decided. The 6-foot-1, 244-pound Andrews did display a physical presence and his FBS potential is evident by the schools that have offered.

OTHER PROSPECTS
TE
Nick Eubanks (2016)
Plantation American Heritage
The 6-foot-6, 208-pound junior already holds offers from LSU and Miami and more should follow for the rising prospect, who didn't start playing organized football until he was a freshman. He's got great size and is a great-looking athlete, but he wasn't targeted much in the passing game and with the Patriots pulling away early and often, there wasn't much need for his abilities.
WR
Janarvis Pough
Plantation American Heritage
The 6-foot, 172-pound two-star Pough holds five offers, most notably FIU, Bowling Green and Northern Illinois. He had a quiet night but did show good speed in his route running. With such a big lead and most big plays going through Gibson and others, there wasn't much opportunity for him.
OL
Nich Shinn (2017)
Lakeland Kathleen
Shinn is a bit undersized at the moment at 6-foot, 265 pounds but has a good frame to fill in, showed good footwork and played hard for a team that for the most part played uninspired. He currently holds no offers but that should change between now and this time next year.
DE
Keith Seymore
Plantation American Heritage
The 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, Seymore currently holds no offers and at this point it may be late in his recruiting process for that to change - at least with an FBS school - but he definitely showed at least FCS potential with three sacks and a forced fumble. He's a very strong, aggressive athlete.
