Recruiting Wrap: Kelly has a top three of Michigan,
Michigan State and Minnesota.
Performance: Kelly is the do-everything player for Oak Park,
lining up at running back and cornerback and returning punts. On offense I had
him for 142 yards on 22 carries for the night, and he scored the first touchdown
of the game on a 18-yard run early in the first quarter. Kelly looks like a
small back on the field, but he measures 5-foot-10 and 191 pounds and he runs
with tremendous power. His speed is what separates him, though, and he got the
edge at will against one of the best defenses in the state of Michigan on Friday
night.

LB
Junior McMullen
Oak Park (Michigan)
Recruiting Wrap: McMullen has been committed to
Western Michigan since March.
Performance: An early commitment to Western Michigan likely
slowed the recruiting attention McMullen was going to see, but we have had him
pegged as a guy who could line up in any conference in the country and he proved
that again Friday night. McMullen has good size for the position at 6-foot-2 and
225 pounds. He is a sure tackler, can deliver the big hit and flows to the
football well from his middle linebacker spot. What we really like about
McMullen, though, is that he has great range in coverage. He finished with close
to 10 tackles and a tackle for loss Friday.

Ray Buford
Southfield (Michigan)
Recruiting Wrap: Buford has been committed to
Minnesota since July.
Performance: The 6-foot, 190-pound Buford is expected to go to
Minnesota as a defensive back, but he is listed as an athlete because he also
has Division I abilities as a wide receiver and we saw that again Friday.
Southfield did not put the ball up very often Friday night, but the one pass
they did throw Buford's way he got deep on a stop-and-go and made pulled in a
30-yard reception along the sideline, keeping his feet in-bounds. Defensively he
did not see much action, but secured the tackles that came his way and provides
great length to the position.

CB
Davontae Ginwright
Southfield (Michigan)
Recruiting Wrap: Ginwright has been committed to Western
Michigan since June.
Performance: At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds Ginwright has safety
size, but he has always played cornerback and shown himself very well there
throughout his high school career. He had both his good and bad moments Friday
night. He nearly came up with an interception in the first half on a poorly
thrown ball that he dove for and just missed. In the second half he secured a
big fumble recovery on his own end of the field. He did give up a long pass
reception for a touchdown, but it was a broken play that the quarterback
extended with his feet.

OTHER PROSPECTS
DT
Shahid Bellamy
Oak Park (Michigan)
Bellamy is expected to play defensive tackle when he arrives at
Central Michigan next fall, but he played almost exclusively at left tackle Friday
night. He did not see his first defensive action until the fourth quarter,
registering a pair of tackles.
RB
Adrian Carter
Southfield (Michigan)
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Carter provided the only big offensive play of the
first three quarters for Southfield, bouncing out of a pile and going 74 yards
for a touchdown. He is a small back with average speed, but he just finds way to
make yardage.
DE
Aaron Cooper
Southfield (Michigan)
Cooper plays bigger than his listed size of 6-foot-2, 230-pound. He has long
arms and was stout against the run Friday night. Several scuffles broke out
during the game, and Cooper was in the middle of most. He plays with a lot of
fire, but was also very effective.
DT
Aaron Turner
Southfield (Michigan)
The 6-foot-1, 269-pound Turner was one of the main reasons Kelly had trouble
finding running room Friday night. He is a run-stuffing defensive tackle who
holds his ground and has enough quickness and lateral agility to get into gaps
and frustrate an offense.
CB
Abdullaah Yaseen (2016)
Oak Park (Michigan)
At just 5-foot-9 and 166 pounds Yaseen is a smaller cornerback, but is has
ultra-quick feet and outstanding change of direction. The break up he made on a
pass intended for Johnson on a quick slant near the goal line was a Division I
caliber play.
