Recruiting Wrap: McDaniel has a top two of Georgia and Miami.
Performance: McDaniel made his presence known right from the get-go, getting after the Central Gwinnett quarterback and recording three sacks in the first half. He also split time on the offensive line, working at right tackle. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound prospect showed promise on both sides of the ball and also looked more impressive than when I saw him earlier this year. Grayson likes to rotate bodies on the defensive line, limiting his opportunities somewhat, but it's clear McDaniel is still in the upward trajectory of his development as a player. He suffered an ankle injury that kept him out for most of the second half, if not, he may have finished even higher on this list.

DT
Trenton Thompson
Albany (Ga.) Westover
Recruiting Wrap: Thompson is committed to Georgia.
Performance: It was a frustrating night for Thompson, who couldn't really make his presence felt like he's accustomed to doing. Worth County ran the ball away from him all night, and while he consistently got penetration into the backfield, it didn't lead to many tackles. The most impressive thing about Thompson's game was that he played every snap. Last year at this time, there were questions about Thompson's conditioning, but anytime a 300-plus pound prospect can go both ways and be effective, there's no doubt that he's a special talent.

LB
Adonis Thomas
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett
Recruiting Wrap: Thomas is currently committed to Florida, but is also considering Alabama and LSU.
Performance: Things got off to a slow start for Thomas, who was working primarily at inside linebacker. Grayson ran the ball away from him, and when it didn't, the blockers did an excellent job of accounting for him. While he had a sack and a few plays as the game went along, it would have been nice to see a player of Thomas' athletic gifts (6-foot-3, 219 pounds) be a little more aggressive. After spending time at wide receiver and tight end earlier in his career, Thomas is still learning as a linebacker, but has the speed and ability to continue improving as he moves onto the next level.

DE
Justin Young
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Recruiting Wrap: Young is committed to Georgia
Performance: Young is one of the least-ballyhooed members of Georgia's monster defensive line class, but there's a reason Georgia took his commitment so early in the process. He has a good build and is a good pass rusher. He struggled with the bigger Price for stretches of Friday's game. At the next level, he may play some standing up and he's athletic enough to do that as well. He, like McDaniel, also spent time filling in on the offensive line and did a pretty good job as a run blocker while playing offensive tackle.

LB
Daniel Fennell
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Recruiting Wrap: Fennell is looking at several schools, including Michigan State, Wisconsin and Missouri.
Performance: It wasn't so much that Fennell had a bad game, it's just that Central Gwinnett's passing attack to the outside left him scrambling to really get involved. Fennell is at his best when he's making plays in the middle of the field or stopping the run, two things he didn't have a chance to do on Friday. With it looking like he could be bound for the Big Ten, Fennell is still an excellent prospect and someone who would be a good fit at several programs.

OTHER PROSPECTS
RB
Nigel Adams (2016)
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett
Adams is listed as a running back, but played primarily linebacker. At 5-foot-11, 220 pounds, he's a little sawed off, but has a nose for the ball and isn't afraid to get in the mix and lay a big hit when needed.
DB
Mohamed Barry
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
The Wisconsin commit made his share of plays while working at cornerback and safety and showed excellent physicality when jamming receivers at the line. He didn't see the ball come his way too often, but was in excellent position when it did. Barry and Wisconsin seem to be drifting apart, with Kansas State working to get in the mix.
DB
Eric Burrows (2016)
Sylvester (Ga.) Worth County
Burrows was the surprise of the night as Worth County knocked off Westover. Despite not playing offense, he was quite the weapon on special teams. He returned one kickoff forty yards and then followed it up with an 80-yard touchdown return the next time he touched the ball. With his skill set, it looks like Burrows could play defensive back or wide receiver, and despite being deep in the heart of Georgia, it's only a matter of time before he's discovered by college coaches.
OT
Tony Gray (2017)
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett
Gray played opposite of Price and drew equally tough assignments. He didn't have quite the success, but he was very impressive, especially for a sophomore. At 6-foot-5 and only 248 pounds, his best days are ahead of him and it shouldn't be long before the same schools that have offered Price are taking a hard look at Gray as well.
DE
Detravious Greene
Albany (Ga.) Westover
Playing alongside Thompson makes it easier for Greene to make plays and he made his fair share. The two-sport athlete is also an excellent basketball player and at 6-foot-5, 222 pounds, could probably be molded into quite the football prospect as well. He doesn't have any offers but it wouldn't be surprising to see some interest pick up before the year is over.
DB
Jordan Hayes
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
It was a quiet night for the Duke commit as he essentially played a centerfield role at safety for Grayson. Hayes is a little undersized to play safety at the next level, but has the ability to both cover and help out with run support.
OG
Jalen Jackson (2017)
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Grayson has made a living running the ball this year and Jackson has been a big part of that. He's moves well for his size (6-foot-3, 270 pounds) and clearly has the skills to play guard at the next level. Assuming he continues to grow, he could develop into quite the offensive line prospect.
LB
Keith Mack (2016)
Sylvester (Ga.) Worth County
Mack played both ways for Worth County and showed excellent speed with the ball in his hands, reeling off at least one long run. His future is probably at linebacker and he has good instincts and is also a big hitter.
DE
Bryce Morias (2016)
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Morias struggled with the duo of Gray and Price, but he's still an intriguing prospect because of his size and speed. Once he learns to refine his technique and put his athleticism into action, he should see his share of college attention.
TE
Jarvis Reid (2016)
Albany (Ga.) Westover
There isn't much of a role for a tight end in Westover's offense in terms of receiving opportunities, but Reid makes the most of his time. He's a good blocker and rarely gave up on his blocks before the whistle blew. At 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, he could probably bulk up a little, and if he does he could catch the eye of some college programs.
DB
Jysanti Richardson
Albany (Ga.) Westover
One of the reasons Thompson waited so long to commit despite being a heavy lean to Georgia was because he had hoped to get teammates like Richardson noticed by other schools. Despite not having any offers, Richardson continues to have an excellent senior season, and had a good game on both defense and special teams, including a kickoff return for a touchdown.
LB
Sidney Willis (2016)
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett
Willis saw his share of playing time on defense, but it's clear he's still coming into his own as a player. At 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, the physical tools are there and if he continues developing, he should be able to find a home at the FBS level.
LB
Denzel Wright (2016)
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson
Wright is a tackling machine and at 6-foot-1, 245 pounds, has plenty of size when it comes to meeting opposing running backs in the hole. He also showed off his hands, snagging an interception a ball thrown over the middle. Wright hasn't gotten many looks yet on the recruiting front, but is a name to remember.
