From the road: Florida defense

Recruiting wrap: Finalists include Auburn, Florida and UCLA.
Performance: Four-star Holland brings so much to the table as a prospect, superior in both size and athleticism. He's listed as a linebacker -- and he'll be a great one at the next level -- but often lines up at defensive end for Trinity Christian. He was effective there, blowing past three-star Nebraska commit Mirko Jurkovic Jr. to sack Deondre Francois and force the fumble, which Trinity Christian recovered. He also assisted on a sack. He also saw action both as a running back and receiver and he continued to make game-changing plays. He caught numerous first down receptions and bulldozed his way to more first downs in the run game. Holland is an incredibly versatile athlete that likely carries more value on the defensive side of the ball, but it's hard to ignore his potential impact on offense.

LB
Nick Thomas
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Wisconsin, will take his official visit this weekend.
Performance: Thomas is a hard-hitting, aggressive defender that snuffs the play out and attacks. In a play away from the action that the cameras may not have caught, he picked up a lineman listed at 6-foot-3, 300 pounds and threw him to the ground. Thomas also collected two tackles for loss among other tackles.

DE
Malik Barrow (2016)
Tampa Tampa Catholic
Recruiting wrap: Holds 13 offers, lists Michigan State as his favorite.
Performance: It was evident Berkeley Prep had a game plan in place specifically for the threat Barrow presented. The four-star was either double- or triple-teamed the entire game, which led to other Crusaders linemen getting open lanes to the quarterback. Barrow still managed an impressive tackle for loss and assisted on a number of other tackles.
Grade: B+
LB
Victor Alexander
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Committed to UCLA.
Performance: The three-star Alexander showed a nose for the ball, combining with Holland on a sack and then later making a solid hit on the ball carrier, stopping him cold in his tracks. He was one of the more physical players on the field.
Grade: B
DB
Ben Edwards
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: De-committed from Ohio State, de-committed from Auburn, holds nearly 30 offers; visited North Carolina last weekend.
Performance: The Trinity Christian backfield was rarely tested, but four-star Edwards did make a nice tackle at the line and demonstrated a physical and athletic skill-set that can make him an asset at defensive back in both the run and pass game.
Grade: B
DT
Ryan Fines
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Miami.
Performance: Fines is a big, physical presence and someone the offense has to account for. The three-star didn't make a big play in this game, but he was a part of a steady Ascenders defense.
Grade: B
DT
Hjalte Froholdt
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Arkansas.
Performance: Trinity Christian's offense struggled mightily, and a big reason for that was the pressure four-star Froholdt put on the Conquerors line. He made a key tackle on a goalline stand and essentially ended the game with his run-stuffing tackle on fourth-and-1 late in the game.
Grade: B
DB
Javon Hagan
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Ohio.
Performance: Hagan made his presence felt on defense in the run game, helping to make an impressive goalline stop. The 6-foot, 190-pound two-star figures to compete for early playing time next season for Ohio.
Grade: B
DE
T.J. Jackson
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Army.
Performance: Jackson started strong with a sack and held his own throughout. He always seemed to be in the right spot at the right time and what he lacks in athleticism he makes up for in coachability.
Grade: B
DB
Tyreke Johnson (2018)
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Holds 17 offers, including Georgia and Ohio State.
Recruiting wrap: There's a reason Johnson holds all the major D-I offers he does and also looks like a seasoned veteran though he's just a freshman -- he's been playing at the varsity level since seventh grade. He's highly athletic, highly competitive and plays with an in-your-face attitude that gets inside the opponent's head. Though he didn't make any plays outside of a few hard hits, he's the kind of player you have to account for at all times.
Grade: B
DT
Kendrick Norton
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Lists his top two as Florida and Miami, also likes Notre Dame.
Performance: Physically, the four-star is a dominating presence and will make just about any offensive lineman's day a long one. But it's hard not to notice how much more dominant he could be as an offensive lineman. He lined up on the offensive line on a number of plays and was great at creating huge holes to run through.
Grade: B
DT
Bo Peek (2016)
Tampa Berkeley Prep
Recruiting wrap: Holds 11 offers, including Stanford, Syracuse and Boston College.
Performance: Peek was a force on the defensive line, coming up with a monster sack and numerous tackles to go with a quarterback hurry. The three-star's recruitment is really starting to pick up this year and it's easy to see why. Physically he stands out and he has a high ceiling.
Grade: B
LB
Dominique Ross (2016)
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: He has offers from Utah and Wisconsin.
Performance: There's a lot to like about this kid's game. He's aggressive, plays with an edge, has good size and plenty of ceiling to get better. It's no wonder the Wisconsin assistant coach on hand, Dave Aranda made him an offer. His recruiting stock will continue to rise.
Grade: B
DB
Shaun Wade (2017)
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Holds eight offers, including Clemson, UCLA, Virginia Tech and Georgia.
Performance: For a Trinity Christian school with a reputation of developing D-I caliber defensive backs, Wade is another exciting prospect to follow. He's long, lean and raw, but the talent is evident. He's extremely athletic and doesn't shy away from a challenge. While IMG's lone touchdown reception came against Wade, he had T.J. Chase covered step-for-step and was all over Chase when the ball came down. Chase just happened to make an extraordinarily athletic play to reel the ball in.
Grade: B
DB
Chris Barr
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Committed to Utah.
Performance: It wasn't the ideal night for a Trinity Christian defensive back to showcase his skill, but three-star Barr was a constant target at receiver for the Conquerors. He caught a 33-yard touchdown pass, but it was called back for illegal motion on the line. He showed some athletic moves after the catch on another reception, but also dropped a pass late in a critical third-down situation that added to a long list of Trinity Christian dropped passes.
Grade: B-
DB
Kevin Toliver II
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Recruiting wrap: Committed to LSU.
Performance: The big stage is where the big stars are supposed to shine, but time and time again, five-star Tolliver disappears when it matters most. He was nowhere to be found against Buford earlier in the season in a nationally televised game and this week against IMG was no different. Toliver was hampered in this game with a hamstring injury and failed to make an impact, despite being called upon to lead on both offense and defense.
Grade: C
OTHER PROSPECTS
DB
Bryce Beard (2016)
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Beard made a name for himself, sacking Kevin Toliver, then blocked a punt that was recovered by IMG and returned for a touchdown. The 5-foot-10, 173-pound Beard currently holds no offers, but his scrappy style of play should get the attention of FCS and D-I schools.
DB
Brody Crossin
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Crossin, a two-star who holds an offer from Louisiana-Lafayette, didn't make big plays, but at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, has good size and athleticism and it wouldn't be surprising if some of the schools showing interest (Cincinnati, Indiana, Purdue) extend an offer to him before the season ends.
DT
Charbel Dabire
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
It was a quiet night for the 6-foot-1, 312-pound two-star Canadian, who holds an offer from Toledo. He's got size and demonstrated a lot of strength and he continues to gain interest from schools, including Minnesota and Purdue.
DE
Joshua Little
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Little didn't make any plays of note, but the 6-foot-3, 230-pound three-star is committed to Kansas State and possesses the size and athleticism that should earn him playing time as a true freshman next season.
DE
Scott Patchan
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
The four-star Miami commit will miss his senior season with a torn ACL and is currently rehabbing and adding weight to his 6-foot-6 frame, working his way up to 240 pounds. He will graduate in December and plans to finish his rehab at Miami in hopes of avoiding a redshirt and seeing the field as a true freshman.
LB
Andre Smith
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
It was a quiet game for the three-star North Carolina commit, but the day of the game marked the one-year anniversary of his commitment to the Tar Heels. The 6-foot, 225-pounder will look to bounce back and also help out the Tar Heels with their recruitment of Ben Edwards, who the weekend before visited North Carolina.
DB
Deontai Williams
Jacksonville Trinity Christian
Williams injured his shoulder early in the game and did not return. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound three-star is committed to Georgia.
