Frierson is down to two

Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson linebacker Evan Frierson took his second official visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-2, 217-pounder made his way to Chapel Hill to check out the Tar Heels.
"It was a really good visit," he said. "I liked the campus and players. It was real cool and they were down to earth. For somebody with his background, Coach Davis was really cool. He reminded me a lot of Coach Zook and anybody would like to play for him."

Frierson was hosted by Bruce Carter, but also spent a lot of time with Quan Sturdivant.
"I was chilling with them on Franklin Street," he said. "That is one of the most lively places in town. We just chilled and had fun.
"They are some really cool dudes, I can't explain it. I could see myself fitting in well there. Our personality traits are similar."
While on the visit, the two-star prospect attended the North Carolina-NC State basketball game.
"It was good," he said. "It was really loud like I have never seen before."
Of course, Frierson met with the coaches too.
"Oh man, Coach Davis and the rest of the staff are good guys," he said. "Coach Davis is a good dude, I like him a lot. He talked to me about how he's looking for ballers to come in and play as freshman. I'm interested in that, that's a good opportunity."
So, what would Frierson rate the visit?
"I'd give it a 10, it was a really good visit," he said. "I'm supposed to go to Tennessee this weekend, but I think I'm done. I'm pretty sure I'll make my decision by the middle of the week.
"It is basically between North Carolina and Illinois. Both of them are the same. I felt a good vibe at both places and they are really cool."
