Up to six offers already, freshman Blake Corum is in line to becoming one of the most coveted prospects in his class. The Laurel (Md.) St. Vincent Pallotti running back picked up his first offer before his first day of high school and hasn't looked back.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"It's been a blessing so far," Corum said. "I picked up my first offer this summer. I was shocked but I've been working really hard to have this type of success. I know Rutgers has a lot of history but I think the team is rebuilding right now. I don't really know too much about North Carolina right now but I'm going to do my research on them. I did a camp at South Carolina this summer and I met coach Bobby (Bentley). He's a great coach. I know Maryland is rebuilding with the 'DMV to UMD Movement'. I've been there a couple times already. I did a camp up at Penn State this offseason. They've been recruiting me and they have a lot of history up there. They haven't offered yet but I grew up a fan of them."

RIVALS' REACTION

In addition to Rutgers, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland, Corum holds offers from Toledo and Temple. Maryland and Penn State have been laying the ground work with Corum for a while already but it's crazy to think there is even a hint of a leader right now. Expect plenty more offers to come in for Corum before all is said and done.
