Freeman keeping it cool

Don't expect Grandview (Mo.) quarterback Josh Freeman to get overly excited about his talents or rising offer collection during a conversation because he is still even keel while enjoying every moment of the process.
Considering Oklahoma just sent an offer his way, the 6-foot-5, 226-pound Freeman has plenty to be pumped about. However, he's still as humble as the day he received his first one.

"Yeah I'm still having fun," Freeman said. "Some people talk about getting sick of it, but picking up offers is a lot of fun."
When the Sooners entered the picture it definitely caught his eye.
"I mean it's great to have an offer from Oklahoma," Freeman said. "They're like the top school in the Big 12 year after year for a while now. I'm looking into it."
Freeman is definitely looking at every option but he still remains with one team at the top.
"Nebraska is still at the top," he said. "I like their system and I feel most comfortable there. Every time I'm there, people know my name around the city, and the coaches are really nice. They are the kind of people I want to be around for the next four years."
Though the favorite is clear, Freeman has pushed back his decision time frame into his senior season. He has almost a full load of official visits planned.
"If Notre Dame doesn't get another quarterback I'll visit there, then Michigan, perhaps Michigan State, Nebraska, and I don't know where else," he said. "It just depends on how many offers I end up with on that last one."
Since the May calling period begin Freeman has only talked to coaches at Nebraska and Kansas thus far. He will also be attending the NIKE Football Training Camp in Ann Arbor, Mich., this weekend.
