Fredrickson close to decision

Dominic Fredrickson could be weeks away from making his decision.
The three-star offensive lineman from Oakley (Calif.) Freedom has basically narrowed his list to three choices and unless Boise State offers in the next few weeks then Fredrickson will pick from San Jose State, Arizona State and Nevada.

"I think I'm getting ready to narrow it down probably within Week 1 or Week 2 and I should have a decision by then," Fredrickson said.
"San Jose State just recently offered and I've been around there the last couple weeks. I like the coaching staff, they're pretty cool, so they're definitely up there.
"ASU is still up there and Nevada is definitely up there. I like the coaching staff at Nevada. They've been pretty genuine with me. It's far enough away from home that it's still like you're going away but it's close enough."
The 6-foot-2, 315-pound three-star prospect said he would love an offer from Boise State. He thoroughly enjoyed his visit there but the Broncos aren't getting that involved yet and Fredrickson wants to make his decision in the next few weeks.
"I like Boise State a lot but no offer yet," Fredrickson said. "I'm hoping for that one. It all really depends. Those are probably the top four. If Boise offers they'd definitely be up there."
A commitment before the season or early in the year is something Fredrickson wants to do so he can focus on his team. That means something could happen much sooner rather than later.
"I don't want to dwell on it during the season and take away anything from my players," Fredrickson said. "I owe it to my team to play the best that I can and not worry about recruiting."
