"It's going straight but I've still go to get on these visits," Franklin said. "I know I'm going to Oklahoma State in January, but I just don't know the date. I know I'm going to Southern Cal and Nebraska too that same month. Southern Cal just says they're looking at me and stuff, but they haven't offered yet."
Right now, the Cowboys lead the pack.
"Yeah, O-State is my favorite," Franklin said. "They've just been the best to me so far. They're giving me advice about recruiting and football – really everything. I like that."
Franklin says his academic situation is shaping up well. He plans to take the ACT early next month. The East Texan then plans to have a decision on Signing Day.
