Franklin open to all programs

Darrian Franklin had a top three of USC, Michigan and UCLA but with more interest coming in the four-star linebacker wants to reopen things to all programs.
Oregon and LSU could be close to offering the Downey, Calif., standout who said at the Las Vegas Pylon 7v7 last weekend that he wants to seriously consider all schools and so he wants to back off having a top list at this point.

Washington State and Arizona are also showing a lot more interest as well.
"I like Oregon a lot," Franklin said. "Coach (Don) Pellum has been talking to me a lot, talking about getting my transcripts and everything and just showing me the position where they want me.
"LSU seems to really like me. I talk to them about every day. We're in contact a lot so the offer should be coming soon.
"With Washington State, they just hit me up last week to see how I'm doing and they want to build that relationship. I also talked to coach Tony Dews at Arizona and they really like me."
Offers from especially Oregon and LSU would really open things back up in Franklin's recruitment. USC and Michigan seem to have a slight edge but the four-star said those new offers would be huge and he would want to take visits to those schools to see which one fits best.
"It would definitely open it back up, open my eyes and see what I have," Franklin said. "I would definitely want to get down to those places and see what it's like down there."
Franklin is planning a visit to Michigan but no dates have been finalized. His father is from the Detroit area - he lives in Los Angeles now - but Franklin said that really won't play a factor in his decision.
"It's not really a big factor," Franklin said. "I want to go my own path."
Franklin finished with 88 tackles and eight sacks in his junior season.
