Franklin heading down junior college route
Three-star offensive tackle Tyler (Texas) John Tyler Marquis Franklin says he's going to delay his Division I-A entrance tomorrow in order to get his test score to a qualifying level.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound East Texas prospect says that he will be signing a letter of intent with Brenham (Texas) Blinn Junior College in the morning on Signing Day.

"That's just temporary for me," Franklin said. "It's until I get my test scores up and get my grades right."
Franklin, rated as the nation's No. 53 overall prospect, held scholarship offers from numerous schools including Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Baylor, Houston, and Iowa.
Franklin says he chose Blinn over other junior colleges including Texas JUCOs like Navarro and Kilgore.
"You already know I'm going to do big things there," Franklin said.
