Francois is a big hitter

There is little doubt that the ability of pre-evaluation Rivals100 selection Stefoin Francois to stop opposing runners in their tracks with ferocious hits is what has college programs eyeing him.
Francois is an aggressive player that has speed and movement skills to go along with his great tenacity.

"People like the way I attack the ball," Francois said. "They also like my hitting ability."
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder from Reserve (La.) East Saint John High is holding on one offer, from Ole Miss, but is receiving handwritten mail from LSU, Texas, Tennessee and Southern California.
"I've been getting a lot of handwritten mail every day," he said.
Francois has no leader at the moment, but has a few programs that he is hoping to get scholarship offers from.
"LSU, Tennessee and Texas would be good," he said.
His high school has sent its last two headliners, quarterback Ryan Perrilloux in 2005 and wide receiver Ricky Dixon in 2006, to LSU.
Francois racked up 97 tackles (seven for loss), five sacks and two interceptions (including one for a touchdown) as an outside linebacker in 2005. Though he had success at that position, he feels that his future at the next level is at safety.
"I want to play free safety," he said.
Francois was a first-team all-state selection at linebacker by PelicanPreps.com in 2005. He also made the New Orleans Times-Picayune's All-Metro Large Schools first team.
Francois plans to attend the Baton Rouge NIKE Camp April 30 on the campus of LSU.
