Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby quarterback Emanuel Francis did not make his scheduled official visit to Memphis during the weekend.
"I haven't had much contact with the quarterback coach up there lately," Francis said.
The 6-foot-3, 187-pounder has one official visit scheduled at this time, to Louisville the weekend of Jan. 27.
"I am excited about going to Louisville," he said.
Francis previously told Michael Langston of FloridaVarsity.com that there was a good chance he may commit to the Cardinals on his visit.
"I could possibly commit on the Louisville visit depending on how things go over there," Francis said. "The one thing I really like about the Cardinals is their commitment to play a quarterback that can run, but be effective throwing the ball.
"Not only that, but they already have a lot of former Godby players there which makes it a good choice because you already have friends there you know pretty well."
In addition to Memphis and the Cardinals, the nation's No. 18 dual-threat quarterback prospect claims offers from UAB and Michigan State.
