Foxboro features two possible DI prospects

Foxboro, Mass. is home to two potential Division I prospects in 2007 in linebacker Ryan Moreshead and lineman Chris Redd. Both prospects have been receiving approximately the same interest from a handful of schools according to Foxboro head coach Jack Martinelli.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Moreshead registered a staggering 111 tackles, seven sacks, two interceptions and three fumble recoveries last season as he was named all-league and Boston Globe division all-star.

"Ryan has been a two-year starter for us at inside linebacker helping our team to 9-1 and 10-2 seasons," he said. "He is a throwback type of linebacker that doesn't hesitate on a play. He goes downhill after people with a vengeance and is a very smart football player. He is also an effective offensive player at fullback and tight end, but linebacker will be his bread and butter."
Moreshead participates in baseball and wrestling for Foxboro. He recently finished No. 5 in the all-state wrestling meet.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Redd is a versatile lineman that could play offensive guard or defensive tackle at the next level.
"He is also a two-year starter for us and for a kid his size he plays at a different level than all the other kids around here," Martinelli said. "Chris is very effective on his feet and really knows how to control the line on defense. At first I thought he was strictly an offensive lineman, but he played well at defensive tackle because he's agile and aggressive."
Last season Redd registered 35 tackles, two sacks and forced five fumbles on the year.
Currently both prospects are receiving interest from schools including Boston College, Iowa, New Hampshire, Northeastern and others.
