Four will get visits from Codrington

Miami (Fla.) South Miami offensive tackle Simon Codrington is a big man that is receiving a lot of big time attention. He has already picked up several offers and in recent weeks the Miami Hurricanes have begun to show interest.
“I know that I am going to take official visits to Florida, NC State, West Virginia and Auburn,” Codrington said. “I have not set up dates for any of those visits yet, but I know I will visit there. I am leaving the fifth one open right now.”

The massive Codrington stands at 6-foot-7, 260 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.3 seconds. He has a 255-pound bench press and 375-pound squat.
“I thought it was messed up that Florida fired coach Zook,” Codrington said. “I think he would have gotten things on the right track. I really wanted coach Zook to stay there. I am just going to sit back and see who they bring in. I really hope that coach Red Anderson will still be there though. They are still a school that I have high interest in.”
Codrington is ranked as the nation’s No. 41 offensive tackle and the No. 63 prospect in the state of Florida.
“Miami recently started calling me and that was really cool,” Codrington said. “Before then they hadn’t really show me much interest. I guess they are just letting me know they are interested and are keeping an eye on me.”
