Four-star WR Winfree planning visits

Four-star wide receiver Juwann Winfree has been on vacation for a while and is getting back into recruiting. The Englewood (N.J.) Dwight Morrow stand out is looking to take some visits soon.
"My coach is encouraging me to take some more visits," said the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Winfree I want to go to Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Vanderbilt. I want to try to make cuts after the visits. Hopefully I'll make some more cuts in August. None of those visits are planned yet but my parents know those are the visits I want to take."

Winfree is working on scheduling these visits with the coaches he is in touch with.
"I've been messaging a lot of coaches," he said. "When I have some free time I call a few of them so I can keep building that relationship. Most of my relationships are with the recruiting coaches, not the position coach. I really want to build that relationship with the position coaches."
A few schools continue to come up in conversation with Winfree.
"I talk to the recruiting coach at Pittsburgh a lot," Winfree said. "Georgia, Maryland, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Kansas are recruiting me pretty hard. (2013 Kansas wide receiver commit) Ishmael Hyman was recruiting for Kansas but I haven't heard from him lately."
Winfree has recovered from a shoulder injury that occurred earlier in the offseason.
