Four-star WR to narrow list

Unless something changes in the next couple of days highly regarded wide receiver Damiere Byrd should be trimming his list to a more manageable number.
As of right now the four-star prospect from Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek is basically wide open, but he appears set to start narrowing things down. That's if his coach doesn't advise him to hold tight for a little while longer.

"I'm gonna talk to my coach about it tomorrow," Byrd said. "I pretty much have an idea (of what he wants to do). I just want to run it by my coach and get his suggestions. I should come out in two days or a week or so. Right now I think I would narrow it to seven unless he tells me I shouldn't."
Byrd, ranked the No. 21 wide receiver and the No. 235 overall prospect nationally by Rivals.com, will be attending a camp at Maryland with his entire team beginning tomorrow. That runs through Saturday, so he might be difficult to reach for the next few days. He has already been to Maryland so he knows what to expect.
"Right now I don't have any other plans," he continued. "I'm probably not gonna go to any (other) camps just because our season has pretty much started already."
Byrd said he is probably done with unofficial visits as well. The next trip he takes may be in the fall for an official visit somewhere.
