Four-star WR talks recruiting

State College (Pa.) State College Area wide receiver Alex Kenney is right in Penn State's backyard, so many will probably assume that he is going to play for the Nittany Lions.
That is certainly a possibility, according to Kenney himself. He isn't closing himself off to other options, however.

"I haven't really made any plans for the summer yet," Kenney said. "I guess the latest thing to happen would be an offer I got from Syracuse this last week."
Are the Orange a serious option for the 6-foot, 181-pound receiver?
"Yes, I'm interested in every school that's interested in me."
Kenney said he is now up to 16 written scholarship offers. Schools like North Carolina, Michigan and Notre Dame have expressed an interest in the four-star prospect but have yet to extend scholarships.
"I prefer to be committed before my senior year of high school begins, just so I can focus on the season ahead of me.
"I think it's definitely possible that I'll trim my list before that. As the summer goes on I'll probably narrow my list down and then just decide. As of right now I haven't even started to narrow my list down."
The last trip Kenney took was the Pittsburgh for the Panthers' spring game. He said he has not had much contact with college coaches since then. He has, however, seen coaches from Penn State, Syracuse, North Carolina, Pitt and Michigan make the trip to his school.
