Four-star WR returns from Arizona

One of the nation’s top Juco wide receivers is four-star B.J. Vickers (6-3, 215, 4.5) from Santa Monica (Calif.) City College. He is just has coveted as a JC prospect as he was as a senior at Venice, Calif., when he had an abundant number of offers.
As a senior at Venice, Vickers accounted for 1,553 receiving yards and scored 14 touchdowns.

As a sophomore for SMCC, Vickers caught 52 passes for 1,022 yards and 13 touchdowns.
No wonder the big physical wide receiver has drawn comparisons to former USC great and now Dallas Cowboy Keyshawn Johnson.
The talented Vickers just returned from his visit to Arizona and he had quite a time.
“It was nice, I enjoyed myself a lot out there,” Vickers said. “I enjoyed the players and I enjoyed the coaches.”
“I really liked the coaches a lot,” Vickers said. “I really appreciate what the Arizona coaches bring to the table.”
Though Vickers thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Arizona he did not commit.
“I have one more trip scheduled to Nebraska,” Vickers said. “I will be visiting Nebraska on December 10th.”
“I went to Cal last weekend and I liked it a lot, too,” Vickers said. “There is a lot to think about.”
One thing that has colleges very interested in Vickers other than he the prototypical wide receiver of the modern age is the fact that he will be ready to go in December and that means the lucky team that signs him will have him available for spring ball.
“If I’m not ready I may not sign on signing day,” Vickers said. “I may not sign on December 15th. I may sign on Christmas Day.”
