Four-star WR knows where he wants to visit

A few weeks ago new four-star wide receiver Juwann Winfree made some cuts and named 13 schools he is focusing on. The Englewood (N.J.) Dwight Morrow product named, in no order Rutgers, Maryland, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia, Boston College, South Carolina, Georgia, Kansas and N.C. State his top 13.
"Rutgers and Pittsburgh are still pretty high on my list," said the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Winfree. "I still really like all the other schools but those are the schools I've been staying contact with the most. I've been to Rutgers a few times also.

"Things are going great with Georgia," he said. "I actually speak with the coach every week or so through Twitter and stuff. I'm hoping to set up a visit some time in the summer."
Now Winfree is comfortable naming some schools he will visit.
"I'm going to try to visit Maryland, West Virginia, N.C. State, South Carolina, Boston College, Virginia and Georgia," Winfree explained. "I don't have the exact dates but I'm going to take most of these visits in August."
Even though Winfree has named some top schools, it hasn't stopped others from continuing to offer a scholarship.
"I picked up an offer from Washington State last week," he said. "That's a nice offer. My strength coach played football there so he probably helped me out with that one. They could be a viable option but I don't know if I will have the chance to go all the way out there to visit. I can't really put them that high right now."
Winfree said he could narrow his list down again in July.
