One of the best in Texas is heading to Arkansas.

Ja'Kayden Ferguson, one of the nation's best wide receivers from the Houston area, committed and signed with the Razorbacks on Wednesday.

Ferguson, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound speedster out of Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall High School, backed off his longtime commitment to Kentucky in November. Both Arkansas and LSU hosted the four-star WR over the past month before the Hogs stepped ahead in time for National Signing Day.

"Coach Fouch, man, he stayed on me," Ferguson told Rivals of his decision to sign ith Arkansas.

"I've got a lot of trust for him and they were there from the beginning. I have huge love for Arkansas and the staff."

That became more and more understood after Ferguson's most recent trip up to Fayetteville in November.

Ferguson is tabbed as the No. 53-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 49 overall recruit from the Lone Star State.
