Four-star WR has a plan

Rivals250 wide receiver Justin Brown continues to rack up scholarships. Two top teams in the SEC just put their hat in the ring for the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder. Who offered and what does he think?
"I got two new offers in the past week from LSU and Tennessee," he said. "Both of those are really big SEC schools that are very impressive.

"I've talked to both wide receiver coaches. LSU talked about the offer with their receivers, while Tennessee said it's been awhile since they've had a receiver that could stretch the field."
The latest offers put Brown up to 17 now.
At this time, the four-star prospect is working on summer visits.
"I'm planning to go to a few southern schools, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina, NC State and Virginia Tech," he said. "I want to see some of the schools that have offered me to give them a fair chance."
Meanwhile, Southern Cal is starting to move in.
"They emailed my trainer and are starting to show interest," he said. "They just found out about me a few days ago.
"That is pretty big for me. At first, recruiting started out regionally. Now it's starting to go nationwide. If they offered that would be a big step, but I'd still keep my options open."
Unlike many top players already in the 2009 class, the No. 24 wide receiver in the country has no plans of deciding in the near future.
"I think I'll really find out who I like once my season is over with," he said. "Right now I'm working with my teammates and high school quarterback. I want to win a championship.
"I've talked about making a decision with my parents. By making it early that allows the recruiters to win. I've talked to people who have gone through this before me and they all tell me you've got to find out who is pursuing you. Some schools will drop off even big-time programs, but I think if I wait, in the end I'll find out who really wants me and they'll respect my decision and be there for me."
