Four star WR commits

Four star wide receiver B.J. Vickers (6-3, 215, 4.51) from Venice, Calif., returned from Louisville with his future a lot clearer. Vickers one of the best wide receiver prospects that the west coast has to offer has decided to join his high school teammate and quarterback Eddie Miller at Louisville.
“I committed because I have a good chance to compete for playing time as a true freshman,” Vickers said. “They are a passing team that is going to run a lot of three wide receiver sets.”

“I liked Louisville a lot,” Vicker said. “I liked the coaches and I was able to get know them. I also was able to get to know the players and like them too.”
Vickers had an outstanding senior season hauling in 5 passes for 1,553 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was selected all-state and all-city for his efforts.
“It’s going to be nice going to Louisville with my high school teammates,” Vickers said. “Hopefully we can recreate what we did at Venice.”
Venice teammates quarterback Eddie Miller and wide receiver Antwuan Giddens also are committed to Louisville.
