Four-star WR breaks down Stanford

Equanimeous St. Brown recently visited Stanford and realized just how different the Cardinal recruit than many other programs across the country.
The four-star receiver enjoyed everything about it.

"It was very nice," St. Brown said.
"They do things differently than other schools. They talk about academics a lot, what you need to get in. They showed me around campus and they sat me down with a professor for your major and they explain a lot about the school. It's nice.
"I'm very interested in Stanford. They have a great education. That's what I need because there is life after football. I'm a smart kid so they're up there."
The Anaheim (Calif.) Servite receiver definitely likes a lot about Stanford but St. Brown is not ready to make his decision. Still, St. Brown had a lot of complimentary things to say about Stanford coach David Shaw and that could play a role moving forward.
"I like him a lot," St. Brown said. "He's a different kind of coach. He sounds smart, he knows what he's talking about. He's different."
A commitment will wait. The four-star plans to visit Notre Dame, Illinois and Northwestern this summer when he travels to the Midwest for a camp. Despite recent rumors, St. Brown has not made a secret pledge to USC.
That rumor was bandied about last week but the Anaheim Servite standout shut down that talk last weekend at the IMG 7on7 West Regional.
"I didn't commit," St. Brown said. "I didn't know how that happened but they're still up there pretty high."
