Four-star WR adds an offer

Four-star wide receiver Marcus Sales out of Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers has acquired another scholarship. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder picked up the offer in the last couple weeks from the ACC.
"I got an offer from Boston College two or three weeks ago," he said. "That is definitely big for me. I definitely want to take a look at them because I know they are a good academic school and have a good coaching staff."

Meanwhile, Sales is beginning to look at taking visits.
"I know I'm going to take visits to Pittsburgh, Boston College and North Carolina," he said. "I picked these since I've been down to Pittsburgh before. I like Pitt's campus along with North Carolina's. I do want to take a lot of visits to schools before I make my decision."
The No. 2 prospect in the Empire State maintains he plans to take his visits much later, after the season.
At this time, Sales claims there are no leaders for his services.
"I'm really open to everybody," he said. "I'm focused on making my team better and then I'll deal with recruiting at the end of the season."
The No. 43 wide receiver in the country has helped his team to a 2-1 record so far.
"Our team is getting better weekly," he said. "We have a lot of young players and are getting the jitters out of the system.
"I've been doing pretty well. I have 10 catches for 240-yards and three touchdowns. I'm a bigger vocal leader and I'm playing harder. I just need to keep improving on my route running."
