Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast wide receiver Mike McIntosh took an official visit with Clemson this weekend, and the Tigers may have drastically improved their chances with him.
“I loved it,” he said. “It was a great time. I really got along well with their players and coaches, everyone in the program. Kelvin Grant was my host. We hung out and clicked real well.
“The coaching staff was great. In spending some time talking about their offense and the depth chart, I really like the situation they have for me there. They've got some good facilities, and they have a nice, new lockerroom coming. Clemson’s at the top of my list right now.”
McIntosh (6-2, 180, 4.4) still has official visits remaining with Florida on the 16th and Florida State on the 23rd. He made trips to Auburn and LSU earlier this year.
“All five of them still have a chance,” he said. “But I’m really feeling Clemson right now.”
As a senior, McIntosh caught 28 passes for 570 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s rated the No. 13 wideout in the nation by Rivals.com.
