Four-star Texas DE going camping

A big month of July is coming up for Rivals250 defensive end Von Miller.
The talented 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is heading to a number of schools, including one where he hopes to earn a scholarship offer. It's not that Miller has been short of those. Baylor, Florida, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech have all offered so far. A few of those schools are on the list of camp visits as well.

"Well, I've got a couple of visits I'm going to take after I get done with summer school here soon," Miller said. "I'm going to see my brother (Kevin White) up at Oklahoma State, then I'm going to LSU for their camp on July 26. I'm hoping I can get down there to earn an offer.
"Then I'm going to the Texas A&M camp on July 14. I think that's the date of it anyway."
Miller has been mum about his favorites in certain reports. However, if the nation's No. 8 defensive end had to name a couple of top teams that will be in the race to the end, he mentioned Texas A&M and Florida.
"I've been to A&M a lot and I went to Florida in early June," Miller said. "Those have been good visits and I got to meet some of the players there. The coaches were really nice. I can just picture myself on both campuses. The chemistry is there with both schools."
The thought of a decision date has crossed Miller's mind. At this time, nothing is set up though.
"I've tossed around a couple of times in my mind when I could commit, but I don't really know yet," he said. "There isn't anything for sure in my head right now."
Miller is rated as the No. 27 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
