Four-star TE will announce Monday

Four-star tight end Weslye Saunders has been down to two schools for weeks now. The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder continues to wrestle on which Carolina school he'll be headed to. One thing the Durham (N.C.) Riverside prospect does know is when he'll announce his decision.
"I'm pretty close to a decision," he said. "I haven't made it yet, but I should have one ready for our team banquet on Monday. More than likely I'll announce there at 7 p.m. between North Carolina and South Carolina."

Obviously, Saunders has been down to these schools for a while, what does he like about each program?
"Honestly, it's probably easier with what I don't like," he said. "Both feature great coaches, terrific schemes for me to run in and successful situations for me. I think the only negative about either is if you count the fact that South Carolina is three hours away. That's the only bad thing and that's not even a big one."
How will the No. 8 prospect in the Tar Heel State decide?
"I'm going to follow my dad's advice and try to clear my head in the next couple days without getting any influence, then I should be able to make my mind up."
