Four-star TE schedules final two officials

Last month, Forestville, Md. tight end Devonte Campbell took his first two official visits to Illinois and Maryland. Over the next two weekends, the 6-foot-1, 234-pounder plans to take two more trips before making a decision by the end of the month.
"I have a visit set up with Tennessee this week, January 12th and then one next weekend to Syracuse on the 19th," he said. "I don't think I'm going to be taking a fifth official. I think I'll be ready to decide sometime after that fourth trip.

"I picked Tennessee and Syracuse for trips because they have always been in my top four. I like what they have to offer and want to check them out."
Is the four-star prospect looking for anything on his visits to help him decide?
"I want to see what the area is like at these schools," he said. "I really want to know what I'm going to be getting myself into and where I can see myself going for the next few years."
Campbell reiterated that Maryland and Illinois are still definitely in the mix.
"Everyone is even at this time," he said. "I've got to take these visits and then I think I'll be ready to decide soon after that last trip. I think there's going to be a banquet I'll announce at."
As for in-home visits, the No. 3 prospect in Maryland claims no schools have discussed making in-home visits in the foreseeable future.
