Four-star talks USC offer

Jacob Daniel is really familiar with the new USC coaching staff since he was committed to them at Washington so getting down to campus this past weekend was important to him.
Not only did the 2015 four-star defensive tackle enjoy his unofficial visit to USC, he also landed another major offer to consider.

The Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North standout said he plans to take his time especially after backing off his Washington pledge over the holidays but the USC offer is big.
"It was gorgeous down there," Daniel said. "It's always cool to be around coach (Justin) Wilcox, coach (Steve Sarkisian) and coach (Peter) Sirmon. I knew them over at Washington so I'm already very familiar with them.
"It was cool to see everything USC had to offer."
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound recruit is nowhere near ready to make a decision but it was made clear USC is going to make a serious run at him.
Daniel is definitely interested especially since he knows the coaching staff so well already.
"They were just saying I'm their guy," Daniel said. "They recruited me at Washington from my sophomore year and they're going to come after me again and that's when coach Sark offered me a scholarship.
"I'm not really sure. I have a lot of options and we'll see what is the best fit for me. I'm just looking for the best situation for me. From a familiarity standpoint I'm really close with those guys."
The four-star standout now lists offers from USC, Cal, Colorado, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, Iowa, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, Utah, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
