Four-star talks FSU offer

Stanley Norman was receiving regular recruiting mail from Florida State but that was about it.
So when the 2015 four-star athlete from Culver City, Calif., received an offer from the Seminoles on Thursday it was a serious surprise but something that's huge in his recruitment.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect said Florida State is recruiting him as an athlete and not for a specific position. He mainly plays wide receiver and cornerback in high school.
"I was getting mail from them but I didn't know they were that interested in me to offer me," Norman said.
"It was a big surprise but I didn't really know what to expect. I knew they had some interest in me because they were sending me mail now and then."
The Culver City standout has now been offered by Florida State, Akron, Arizona State, Marshall, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
The four-star had some really positive things to say about Florida State's program especially since the Seminoles are coming off their national championship win earlier this week.
"That's really huge," Norman said. "Especially them coming straight off a natty there is a lot going on right now with Florida State. Their program is starting to turn into an Alabama pretty much if they continue to play for national championships.
"Knowing they've taken some type of interest in me and taking the time out to call and really explain and break it down with me where I stand with them and what's going on and how they offered me, it's Florida State so they're definitely in my top five. I really like Florida State."
