Four-star talks Florida State offer

Dechaun Holiday has landed some serious offers recently. One came late last week that really caught his attention.
The four-star defensive back from San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills was offered by Florida State and Holiday said it's definitely one he will seriously consider especially since the Seminoles just won the national title.

"I have been talking to the coaches and I sent him my highlight film and they said they were excited," Holiday said. "They ended up calling and offering me.
"It's a very big one considering they won the national championship this past year and there are so many good things I've heard from them and how they could use me."
The offer just came so Holiday is not sure when he can visit Tallahassee but the 6-foot-2, 192-pound recruit said he definitely wants to take a trip there. Something could come possibly in the summer.
"I will probably take a visit there," Holiday said. "I'm not sure yet but I'd like to visit in the summertime."
So far, Holiday has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Colorado State, Florida State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, San Diego State, San Jose State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington and Washington State.
Earlier in his recruitment, Holiday said UCLA held a slight advantage over others but the four-star has changed things a little bit with all the new offers arriving.
"I'd probably say everybody has leveled out right now," Holiday said. "I'm just going to research them all and then make my decision."
The San Marcos Mission Hills standout said new interest is coming from Texas A&M, Oregon and Texas Tech.
