Four Star tackle whittles down list to four

One of the west coast’s most sought after defensive lineman is Sedric Ellis (6-2, 240, 4.7) from Chino, Calif. Ellis and his Chino teammates season came to an abrupt end last Friday when they were bumped from the playoffs against San Clemente in a tough defensive battle 13-9.
Ellis is a big time prospect who played the entire season with a bull’s eye on his jersey. He was double- and triple-teamed on every play. Still he had six sacks on the year. Ellis didn’t have his exact number tackles but he was the catalyst on a quarter-final team.

Ellis had over 20 offers and has whittled his list down to four schools. They are the red-hot USC Trojans, Oregon, LSU, and Oklahoma. All four schools have offered.
Ellis has already taken a visit to LSU.
“I had a great time at LSU,” Ellis said. “LSU is a place where I could see myself playing at.”
Ellis hasn’t set any other visits but he plans to do so in the very near future.
Ellis was one of the many top-flight prospects in the audience for the USC/Notre Dame game.
What were Ellis’ thoughts on the game?
“Notre Dame got whooped,” Ellis said.
