BROOKLYN, NY -- Badara Traore’s recruitment is creeping toward its final stretch and it seems a furious finish is in the cards.

The four-star offensive tackle says he plans to wait until the mid-November conclusion of his junior college season and unleash a sprint toward a commitment at that time.

Traore has already narrowed his list and plans to cram all of his visits in a tight window between ASA Brooklyn Community College’s season finale and his December graduation date.

Already, he’s gearing up for the run.

“I just got that offer from Texas, so it’s really just them, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and some other schools,” Traore said. “I think I’m going to take, maybe, three visits though. It’s probably going to be LSU and Texas. Then, either LSU, Oklahoma or Ole Miss.”

But while his visit itinerary is coming together, Traore is yet to nail down a decision date. He’s unlikely to announce one, as it seems more plausible that a verbal commitment could come without much warning during a campus visit.

“I graduate in December, so I’m going top decide before I leave in December, but I don’t have a date or anything.”

Traore says he’s in most frequent contact with LSU, but says that isn’t necessarily indicative of anything as it relates to his impending decision. It is, however, clear that a relationship is in place.

“I spoke to LSU last night actually,” Traore said on Friday. “It’s good, man. We talk a lot. I talk to Coach [Orgeron]. It’s going great with them.”

A December graduate, Traore will have three years to play two seasons at the school of his choice. He has already taken an official visit to Auburn.

RIVALS REACTION: Texas, Auburn and LSU seems like the real players here, but don’t rule out a late push. Junior college recruiting is particularly fickle and lends itself to late offers and last-minute changes of heart. The tackle’s November official visits will determine a lot.
