Four-star sets visits

Four-star defensive tackle Latu Heimuli (6-4, 300) from Salt Lake City (Utah) Highland is certainly living up to his reputation as one of the nation's best defensive tackle prospects.
So far this season Heimuli has had to fight through double teams and still he has accounted for approximately 30 tackles and a very impressive seven sacks. That's a good number for a defensive end, but when you consider all the attention Heimuli is garnering and that he is rushing the passer from inside, it is even more impressive.

Heimuli has offers on the table from BYU, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Washington, Washington State, Colorado and Nebraska, plus his two latest ones from Cal and UCLA.
It is going to become more hectic for Heimuli on the recruiting trail before it calms down.
"I took a visit to Nebraska last week and it was really good," Heimuli said. "I'm headed to Washington State this weekend."
"I really like Coach Jody Sears, who is recruiting me for Washington State," Heimuli said. "I think he is a good man. I will be visiting Washington State with my friend Isi Sofele."
"I have another visit to Arizona on October 25th," Heimuli said. "I really like Arizona defensive line coach Mike Tuiasosopo and I have a lot of family down in Tucson so it would work out well for me if I go down there."
"I have no other visits planned at this time," Heimuli said. "I will probably choose between Oregon State, Cal and UCLA for the last two visits."
Heimuli is also solid in the classroom with his 3.2 GPA.
Rivals.com ranks Heimuli as the nation's No. 1 run stuffer. He was selected by Rivals.com to the Utah Preseason Top 15 team for the class of 2009 landing as the Beehive State's No. 4 prospect at any position.
