Four-star sets in-house visits

Four-star defensive end Alex Parsons (6-4, 260, 4.9) from Irvine (Calif.) Woodbridge will start entertaining in-house visits starting next week. He will also be setting up his last two visits. Parsons has already taken two and has another scheduled visit to USC. He will take at least one more official visit, perhaps two. Parsons first garnered attention when he attended UCLA's one day camp in April and he has been impressive ever since.

"I have already visited Arizona and Kentucky," Parsons said. "Both trips went well."
"On the Arizona trip, I liked the campus and the academic advisors," Parsons said. "Everything was nice about Kentucky, it had a laid back feel."
Parsons' next scheduled visit will be to USC on December 16th. Including his visit to USC, Parsons will take at least two more visits, possibly three.
"I'm definitely going to visit UCLA with one of my last two official visits I have left," Parsons said. "I'm going to call UCLA tomorrow (Nov. 30th) to set the visit up."
"I'm going to choose the college where I feel I fit in," Parsons said. "That's why I'm taking my official visits. I will probably make my college choice known in early January."
Parsons will play in the California/Florida all-star game on December 31st.
As a senior, Parsons had a 104 tackles and 1.5 sacks. On offensive he caught 10 passes for 160 yards. He also rushed for 167 yards and one touchdown.
Parsons is a member of the Rivals.com Rivals250 team for the class of 2006. Rivals.com ranks Parsons as the nation's No. 15 strong side defensive end. He was also named to the Rivals.com preseason California Top 100 team and landed as the Golden State's No. 23 rated prospect at any position.
