Four-star safety wavers on commitment

Rumors have been swirling that Rivals100 safety DeAndre McDaniel out of Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby may be softening on his commitment to Clemson as he is planning to take all five official visits. We talked to the 6-foot-0, 185-pounder to find out if there is any truth to the rumors.
"I'm still committed to Clemson, but I plan on taking all my officials to see what is out there and if something better pops up," he said. "I do plan to take all five official visits and they'll probably be after the season. I'm just not sure who I'll take them to yet. I plan to go to Clemson and then maybe one to Southern Cal, Louisville, North Carolina and I'm not sure about the fifth one."

What is McDaniel hoping to see on his visits?
"I just want to check the schools out and see if something could change my mind," he said. "I want to see how their coaches are and how quick I'll be able to come in and work with the team. Those things could potentially make me change my mind on my commitment."
One other school the four-star prospect is looking at is Florida State.
"I've been around them a lot and there's no reason to visit, but I'd say they are my second school right now," he said. "I like that both of their safeties are leaving after this year and they've been my favorite team since I was little. They are also a winning school."
Of course, McDaniel still has the Tigers on top.
"It's going to be hard for them to come down because I like them a lot because I know I can go in there and start early and that's what I'm looking forward to doing," he said. "I've seen their season this year and all their games have been close. I understand why they're 2-2 and I like that they aren't losing any of the games without a fight."
The No. 6 safety in the country has helped Godby to a 3-1 record.

On offense I have almost 300 yards receiving and one touchdown," he said. "I'm happy with what I've done so far except for one game as they other team wasn't passing so I didn't get involved that in very many plays, but we still came out with the win."Here to view this Link.
