Four-star safety sets two officials

Four-star Pennsylvania safety Dondi Kirby is still focused on five schools and he has scheduled official visits to two of them.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound athlete from Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway missed his senior season with an ACL injury but that didn't deter the schools that were already interested in him.

Kirby has narrowed his focus to Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland and Southern Cal, and he has now set up trips to a pair of those schools.
"I'm going to Illinois on December 11 and Iowa on December 17," Kirby said on Monday night.
"Those are the only ones I have so far. My official to Maryland is in January sometime as well as USC. I'm not sure about Florida yet."
When asked whether he is absolutely committed to taking an official visit to Florida, Kirby replied, "I think so."
He went on to say that those five schools are basically even with one another and he will start to get an idea as to which ones he favors over the others after he starts visiting.
The last coach Kirby spoke to was running backs coach DeAndre Smith from Illinois. Kirby said no coaches have scheduled in-home visits with him yet.
