Four-star safety impressed with calls

Saturday marked the beginning of the football season for many colleges and it was also September 1, which means college coaches could start calling recruits again.
Some of the top programs wasted no time getting in touch with one of the top safeties in the state of Florida, Nate Salley.

"I heard from Stanford, Tennessee, Iowa, Wake Forest, North Carolina St.,and Ohio St.," Salley said. "The coaches from Tennessee and Ohio State impressed me the most."
Salley, a standout at Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, already has offers from Pittsburgh, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Wisconsin.
However, it sounds like the big three in Florida might have an inside track to Salley.
"I grew up a Florida State fan and then grew to like Florida and Miami because they are such good programs," Salley said.
No official visits have been set up by Salley but look for them to come soon as coaches will continue calling him.
