Four-star safety ecstatic about USC offer

Damuzhea Bolden has enjoyed a great junior season and seen his recruitment pick up quite a bit in the last couple months.

The latest example of his rise came Friday night when USC extended a scholarship offer, and it was a major one for the four-star safety from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman.
Bolden had been in contact with the Trojans for some time and labeled USC as a dream school, so despite the uncertainty that surrounds the program given the coaching situation, the offer still carried special significance.
The 6-foot-3, 183-pound prospect came close to committing to Oklahoma State this past summer but, with the options opening up, now appears to be in no rush. California, Colorado, Notre Dame and Washington are new schools that have expressed interest.
Beyond blessed to revive my 7th offer from my dream school USC. I thank everyone who's has helped me out! #FightOn pic.twitter.com/PvrqAnlkwv— BUBBA BOLDEN#11 (@BubbBolden) October 24, 2015
IN HIS WORDS: "It was a big offer," Bolden told Rivals.com. "It's been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, so that's obviously a top school. It's big time. I just want to see which head coach they get and stuff like that, but the offer is definitely up there for me.
"Coach (Keith) Heyward told me that all the coaches have reviewed my film and they think I'm a great player. They love how physical I am and coach Heyward said no matter if he's there (at USC) or if he leaves, I'll have an offer no matter where he'll be."
WHAT'S NEXT?: Bolden intends to visit the Trojans for their game against rival UCLA at the Coliseum in late November. Aside from that, he is not sure about other trips. Bolden has been talking to coaches from a few other programs, including Arizona State, Oklahoma State and Utah about potential visits.
